Market Representative

May 1 – August 31, 2026 | Winnipeg + surrounding Manitoba markets

We’re hiring Market Reps. to run our booths at farmers markets across Manitoba this season. It’s a physical, people-facing role. You’ll set up, sell, and keep things moving.

For most people, you’ll be their first impression of Dead Horse Cider, so how you show up matters.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Set up and take down the booth (tent, tables, product, display)

  • Travel to markets in Winnipeg and surrounding areas

  • Sell cider, process payments, and enter orders accurately

  • Keep track of inventory and restock as needed

  • Answer questions and guide people through the cider lineup

  • Handle customer concerns clearly and professionally

  • Follow Dead Horse’s approach to customer service

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable starting conversations and keeping them going

  • Able to read people and build quick, natural rapport

  • Reliable and able to work independently

  • Good pace and awareness in a busy environment

  • Comfortable outside in all weather

  • Physically capable (lifting 30 lbs, on your feet all day)

Experience in sales or customer service helps, but isn’t required. And if you’re already familiar with Dead Horse Cider, you’ll have a head start!

Before you start:

  • You’ll need to complete the Smart Choices Liquor Service & Retail Certification

  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to markets across Manitoba

  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada

This role is seasonal, outdoors from time-to-time, and involves travel to markets across Manitoba.
